Hello! My name is Shota Sakai, and I'm a personal trainer.
Let me start by sharing a little about my background.
In the past, I worked in a completely different industry unrelated to fitness. However, both the nature of the work and the relationships at the time left me mentally and physically drained, and I eventually found it very difficult to even go to work.
One of my closest friends from school became a personal trainer, and when I told him about my situation, he invited me to join him for a workout, saying, "Why not clear your head and move your body a little?" That moment marked the beginning of my fitness journey. At the time, I never imagined I would get so hooked on training.
I had always liked sports and working out, but honestly, back then I was in no state of mind to feel motivated about training at all.
Still, once I actually tried training under his guidance, something changed. During the workout, all I could focus on was lifting the dumbbells, holding the barbell, and standing up from a squat. Without even realizing it, I had completely forgotten all the stress that was weighing me down.
By the end of the session, I was exhausted, but strangely refreshed and uplifted. I clearly remember thinking, "Training can have this kind of effect? It can be this fun?" It was a huge revelation for me.
At the same time, I felt a strong desire to share this joy and sense of fulfillment with others. That's what inspired me to become a personal trainer.
I also hold a national license as a Judo Therapist. With experience working at an osteopathic clinic, I specialize not only in body transformation and physique improvement but also in functional recovery.
Whether your goal is to "lose weight," "build muscle," or "get a physique like your favorite celebrity or model," or if you have requests such as "I'd like massage therapy alongside training because of back pain," or "my shoulders hurt and I can't lift my arms,"—please feel free to tell me anything!
Let's enjoy training together!
I promise to give my all in supporting every step of your journey.
