About FIT HIVE
Hello everyone! I’m Shota Mizuguchi, the founder of FitHive.
- I can never stick to a diet.
- I try squats and push-ups when I see celebrities with great bodies on TV, but I can’t keep it up.
- I always think, “This time, I’ll get in shape by summer!” But I never follow through.
- Dieting is exhausting.
- Gyms are intimidating. They feel scary. I don’t even know how to use all those machines, and I feel embarrassed.
Does this sound familiar?
Until last year, I felt the exact same way.
I failed at dieting over and over again.
But in April of last year, I decided to take the plunge and signed up for personal training. That’s when I met Yasuda, who is now our FitHive trainer.
Under his guidance, with just 1–2 sessions a week, each lasting about an hour, I saw my body transform rapidly. I was thrilled to see my reflection in the mirror after a bath.
It felt like a lie that I had ever thought, “Dieting is torture.”
Exercise became so much fun for me.
Of course, I made some personal efforts in my own time.
But compared to the times when I exercised alone, I was amazed at how easily my body changed under Yasuda’s guidance.
At the same time, I felt a strong desire to share this joy with others who struggle to maintain their physique. I wanted everyone to experience the fun of transformation. That’s when Yasuda and I decided to create "the gym we truly wanted to go to."
A gym that feels comfortable, motivates you, and makes you look forward to your sessions.
That’s how FitHive began.

Tell us about your goals and the body you dream of achieving.
For me, my ideal physique was inspired by Hidetoshi Nishijima -- japanese movie actor.
I didn’t want to get overly muscular or compete in any fitness contests.
I simply saw his physique and thought, "That’s so cool!"
So, I told Yasuda, "Make my body look like his!"
Here’s a little fun fact: even when training your chest muscles, there are various exercises that target different areas. The chest itself is divided into three main parts.
Yasuda created a customized program for me, specifically designed to build a physique similar to Nishijima’s.
I want to share this excitement with all of you.
